Healthy and wholesome single serve meals made with locally sourced ingredients and prepared in the Tairoa Lodge kitchen. Gluten free and vegetarian meals are available.

Tairoa Lodge is not an allergy free kitchen. It is the customer’s responsibility to review our menus regarding possible allergies to ingredients we cook with. Please be aware we may have ingredients stored on-site that mean we are not allergy free for your needs.


You may order online at any time. Your meal order and payment must be received by 4pm Sunday weekly to ensure delivery the following Wednesday.

Our meals are not intended for the purpose of export or resale.


Single serve fresh chilled meals are served in a bamboo food box which is oven safe to 220°C, microwave safe and freezer friendly. These food boxes have a smooth texture that is soft and comfortable to hold, so you can eat straight from the container or transfer onto a plate once heated. After use, they are certified for commercial composting.

A list of ingredients and heating instructions are provided with each single serve meal.


Tairoa Lodge will personally deliver your meal order within the Hawera township and for a limited time, delivery is free. We will deliver between 3 pm and 5 pm weekly on the Wednesday following your meal order having been made.  Pickup can be made between 3pm – 5pm on a Wednesday.

Deliveries are unable to be made to outlying areas at this time, therefore customer pick up from Tairoa Lodge is required. Please contact us to arrange. If you’re not at home, we will leave your meals somewhere safe. When you place your meal order, you can leave a note to let us know the best place to leave your meals, for example “Please leave parcel around the corner on the garden side of my property”.

We recommend you leave out a cooler bag for us to leave your meals in. This will keep them safe & chilled until you arrive home.
All care is taken to ensure that your meals arrive in perfect condition according to the delivery instructions, however Tairoa Lodge cannot be responsible for any loss or deterioration of the product that occurs subsequent to the delivery.


All prices listed are in New Zealand dollars and are inclusive of GST. We reserve the right to change prices at any time however if we change our prices after your order has been confirmed, we will honour the price you have paid.

At the time you register on our site, make a purchase or agree to participate in a promotion, we collect and store your name, address, e-mail address and telephone number. We do not store Credit/Debit Card Information.

We need the information to provide you with goods and services as requested and to let you know of any other services or products that you might be interested in.

We may also ask you to give information about others if you order a gift to be sent directly to the recipient. In these circumstances, we may ask for the recipient’s name, address, telephone number and e-mail address. We may ask you for personally-identifying information at other times, for instance, if you enter into a promotion, communicate with us, or complete a survey. When you opt-in to receive information regarding a promotion, you then give us your permission to send marketing or other materials.

From time to time we may also gather general statistical information about our website and visitors, such as pages viewed, number of visitors, goods and services purchased, transactions completed, etc.


We are committed to preventing others from unauthorised access to the personal information you provide to us, and we maintain procedures and technology designed for this purpose.

Access to your information is controlled by strict internal procedures. Our staff are trained in the protection of customer privacy and we maintain policies about the proper physical security of workplaces and records.

Our Guarantee

When you order meals from us you can be sure of the quality and our service. If you have a reasonable cause and are not absolutely thrilled with the quality our product, simply notify us within 24 hours and we’ll offer a replacement or a refund.
